Suvodeep Chatterjee is an Artist, Designer, Painter, Guinness World Record Holder, CEO & Founder of Universal Records Forum (URF) which is an organization working for talented personalities in remote areas, providing them with proper stage and identity. His relentless efforts and service in the Record breaking field for the past 8 years has made him a well known figure around the world, especially for his contribution towards unique form of painting such as Mouth painting, Hand Print painting, etc.
He was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, on 8th July 1993. After his graduation in Multimedia from St.Xavier's College, Kolkata, under University of Calcutta, he ranked 11 in all India entrance exam for MFA (Master in Fine Arts), BHU (Banaras Hindu University).
In 2013, he achieved Limca Book of National Record, and over 20 international records for World's Largest Painting by Mouth, which is 896 SQ FT long and took 11 days to complete. He popularized a new form of art using self made colors. The painting was exhibited subsequently at historic Tala Ground, Kolkata. The painting was entitled “Save the World”, where all the continents and religions raised their hands to save the world and make it green from the dark pollution.
In 2015, he received the prestigious Kentucky Colonel Award from Honorable Governor of Kentucky Steven l. Beshear, which is the highest title of honor bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA. Commissions for Kentucky Colonels are given by the Governor and the Secretary of State to individuals in recognition of noteworthy accomplishments and outstanding service towards a Community, State or Nation. After the Colonel award, he received US Presidential Champion Platinum Award in 2016, issued by 44th U.S. President Barack Obama.
Suvodeep Chatterjee started a new form of art in the last quarter of 2016 called "Rapid Hand Print Art" which helped him to achieve the Guinness World Record for the Fastest Hand Print art in the world, recorded at 65 in one minute, added in 2017 Guinness Book of World Records Edition globally. As a graphic designer, he has been a part of many notable works like designing "Swachh Bharat Book" released by the National Academy of Customs Indirect Taxes & Narcotics Kolkata, Safety book of AAEI(Automobile Association of Eastern India), official designer of Bengal Beach Football League 2017 Logo & Mascot. He was one of the winners of Incredible Art Piece by Samsung Mobile and Guinness World Record attempt for the most artists working on the same art installation. More than 4 Lakh artists had participated in the event. Name of the winning Artwork was - "God of Bharat", contemporary traditional Indian art.
He is the CEO & Founder of Universal Records Forum (URF), an international organization which is the youngest and fastest growing records management & publishing organization. Mission and objective for this novel project was to recognize hidden talents throughout the globe, whose contributions go unnoticed in this demanding world, and help in providing them proper platform, guidance and opportunities. More than 300+ unique talents have been discovered till date, who later performed in international media such as Discovery, History Channel, Sony TV through URF. On 30th November 2015, Suvodeep Chatterjee organized the 1st World Talent Festival in Kolkata wherein more than 100 talented personalities participated from different parts of the country and world such as UAE, Kuwait, London, Bangladesh etc.
In December 2019, he was selected for highest honor - The Royal Order of the Crown of Georgian Kingdom (Knighthood) by The HRH Crown Prince Nugzar Bagrationi-Gruzinski. It is available to both Georgian and foreign citizens. The Royal occasion was supposed to commence on May 2020, but due to the ongoing worldwide pandemic of Covid-19, it has been rescheduled.
He has received many international awards and accolades from UK, Spain, USA, Iran, Nepal, UAE. He has even received Honorary Doctorate from Baptista Peace University, International University of Higher Martial Arts Education. He has bagged India Proud Award 2015, Record Setter USA, Record Holder Republic UK, Everest World Record Nepal, GRF Georgia.
He has achieved Guinness World Record through alternative art process such as Mouth Painting (Holding the brush through mouth instead of hand) & Hand print art technique (which is a medieval art process), created worldwide impact through setting record for fastest hand print artist and more than 150 countries have witnessed the feat.
He invented the alternative forms of art through the contemporary ways. Art can be created with anything. There is no specific medium & process which will mostly help people from remote places who can’t afford proper material or medium.
